ITINERARY

Day 1 ... 🛬 into Malpensa.  Hmmm, we glance at each other, eyebrows raised ... “are you thinking what I’m thinking .. perhaps we should head north to Como??”  Nooooooo, don’t fall prey to the temptation - let’s head south and trust in the journey ahead!!  Grabbing our favorite white topless Fiat, we head for the coast - to Monterossa Al Mare’s Roca Porto.  At the edge of Cinque Terre’s Sentiero Azzurro, it’s 12 km of Italian magic!
Day 2  ... Today we hike the incredible trail south, hugging the coast.  To hike in Italy is bad ass .. coz the rewards of our effort are beautiful cliffside vistas, colorful villages and yummy pasta ... and gelato - which isn’t really ice cream 😬 At the end of the trail we jump on a train back to Monterossa, it’s time to rest after such an incredible day!  Can you believe it? We’re only getting started!
Day 3 ... After a relaxed morning with shnuggles, creamy espresso and breakfast gelato ..  we drive up the coast to the beautiful seaside town of Portofino where it’s all about luxury and relaxation.  After a stroll around the village, we find a legit waterside restaurant for a yummy🦞 🦐  lunch.  At the Hotel Splendido, how about a late afternoon spa extravaganza ?  ... coz well ... why not ?
Day 4 ... It was roooolll smart to stay in Portofino, coz our ⛴ transport to Corsica embarks not far away in the port town ofGenoa!  By mid afternoon we reach Bastia 🇫🇷, we’ve made it to island ! For the next few days we’ll only have spartan accommodation, but we don’t care coz the hiking is going to be spectacular and the food beyond our wildest dreams!  ⛰ 🥾Day 7 ... We’ve worked real hard for our money hiking so much..  A little luxury awaits us near Bonafacio at the Maquis Citadelle.  This is our final stop and we’ll enjoy the last Corsican moments from this secluded limestone escape. We never want to leave.
Day 9 ... 🛫 .. Paris ... Home ...  😢
